Use it up, wear it out, or let me have it.
As many of you know, we are not above getting stuff for free. You also know I like to sew, but sewing involves fabric, and fabric isn't always free. Used fabric can be free if you (or someone you know) gives it to me. See, all I really want are your used up jeans. You know, the ones your husband wore out the knees in, or the ones your kids got so dirty they will NEVER come clean again. I want the ones you will never wear again because they are so 15 years ago. I want those jeans that you got from someone and now you don't want. I want your neighbors jeans. I want the jeans that you don't wear because they don't fit anymore. I want any denim you are willing to part with. I don't really care what condition it is in as long as there is a few inches of fabric still intact on it somewhere. Abandon it on my doorstep. Give it as a gift when I come to visit you. Mail it to me if you are so inclined. I just want fabric that isn't wanted anymore. I want to give it a new home where it will be loved. (psst...this counts as recycling for you)

Oh good. I have a couple old pairs of the boys' jeans that I was hanging onto because I hoped that at some point someone I knew would want some denim and I can't stand to throw anything away that might be useful to someone. Now I just have to find it....
